The UNESCO town of Kutna Hora witnessed
its golden years in the Middle Ages when it ranked among the richest European
Towns due to the local silver mines. The main attractions are the Ossuary – the
Bone Church with the interior decorations made of over 40,000 human bones and
the gothic St. Barbara´s Cathedral with the oldest parts dating back to the
14th century.
